This project began with a firsthand experience of a major corporate restructuring, during which many talented members of our team had to leave their existing roles.

It made us reflect on an important question: In a rapidly changing world, shouldn't people have more possibilities for career development, rather than being limited by a single organization, geographic location, or traditional employment model?

Everyone deserves more flexible and diverse career opportunities. Businesses also need new ways to connect with the right talent from around the world as their needs evolve.

Meanwhile, remote work and flexible employment are becoming increasingly common. Yet traditional recruitment still struggles with low efficiency, poor matching, slow response times, and a lack of flexibility, making it harder to meet the needs of rapidly evolving teams.

More importantly, career development is one of the most important aspects of life, yet today's recruitment market is still largely built around employers.

Recruitment platforms primarily serve hiring professionals, and recruitment agencies are paid by companies. Meanwhile, there are still very few tools that consistently put job seekers first, helping them discover opportunities, evaluate positions, and make informed career decisions.

That's why we began exploring a new approach:

RemotAI focuses on helping Chinese users find remote work opportunities around the world. We build our product around one practical question that matters most to job seekers:

By leveraging AI, we aim to lower the barriers to accessing information and pursuing opportunities across borders and languages. We want to help Chinese talent identify global remote opportunities that truly fit their skills and career goals, while making connections between talent and businesses more efficient and flexible.
